Team Runovo focuses on building a strong foundation of the fundamentals of basketball while intentionally instilling good values and principles in young people.
If you are looking for exceptional and high level skills training from beginner players to experienced players then we have what you need. Our coaches bring years of playing and coaching experience to our training sessions that are designed to meet the needs of each player.

We want our players to be passionate about the process of growing, committed to learning the art of the game and have a desire to be a great teammate and leader on the court and in the community.
What are we about?
Our desire is to build S.T.A.R. student/athletes that will not only be successful on the court but also in everyday life. We are committed to teach the importance of the fundamentals by providing high-level coaching. We are intentional about teaching values and life principles that parents desire to be instilled in their children. It is our belief that this will help equip them to make a positive impact on those around them and lead to living a life of purpose and significance.
We desire to teach HOW TO WIN on and off the court.

Coach Al Coleman
Coach Prince Ezulike
Coach Al founded Team Runovo three years ago and has been coaching for over 15 years. He was the varsity boys head coach at Christian Life Academy in San Diego, CA for two seasons and head assistant coach at Westview High School in San Diego, CA for two seasons. Coach Al spent many years putting on youth basketball camps with notable NBA players. He also conducted skills training sessions with players from high school to professional levels. A Houston native, he played 4 years on Varsity at Alief Hastings, was recruited and played 4 years of collegiate basketball at the University of Texas in Austin, setting a record for most 3-pointers in a game (10) both at UT and for the Big 12 with the school record still standing, then went on to play professionally over seas. He graduated from UT in 1997 with a degree in Communications.
Coach Prince Ezulike is currently in his first year as head coach for the Fort Bend Christian JV boys basketball team and is an assistant varsity coach. Since 2015, he has trained and taught kids the game both privately and for the YMCA. He played a year of collegiate basketball at St. Petersburg College in Florida before moving to Houston. Coach Prince graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Supply Chain and Logistics. As a coach, his heart is to develop the players to be the best they can be on and off the court. Coach Prince is a wonderful coach who will push the players to be their best.


Coach Kalvin (Scooter) Lewis
Coach Kalvin (Scooter) Lewis is a fourth year boys varsity head coach at Fort Bend Christian Academy, and has been coaching for 6 years. Before beginning his coaching career, Coach Skooter played 4 years of collegiate basketball at Missouri Baptist University in Saint Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Missouri Baptist in May 2015 with a degree in Physical Education. A native of Houston and graduate of John Foster High School in 2009, Coach Scooter will bring a wealth of basketball experience and knowledge to our program. His father and mentor, Kevin Lewis, played in the NBA and coached at the D1 college level for many years. Coach Skooter is a great coach and a better man! We know the boys and girls will enjoy learning from him.
Coach Kaillyn Lewis
Coach Kaillyn Lewis (Coach Scooter's sister) is going into her 2nd year as assistant coach at Fort Bend Christian Academy. Before beginning her coaching career, Kaillyn received a bachelor's degree in Child Development from Texas Christian University. Her basketball experience includes being a 3 year lettermen for John Foster Dulles High School girls varsity basketball team where she received multiple all-district awards throughout her career. She also received multiple offers to play collegiately before choosing to focus on her dream of becoming a doctor and is currently enrolled at Texas Chiropractic College. Coach Kailyn will be a tremendous coach and role model for our young lady athletes.
Coach Derek Davis
Coach Derek is a Houston native and was an assistant boys varsity coach at Southwest Christian Academy for 1 year in 2018. Prior to his coaching experience, Derek played varsity basketball and graduated from Cypress Springs High School in 2008. He played D1 collegiate basketball at the University of Texas at San Antonio for 1 year before moving back to Houston. In 2018, Derek attended Western Technical College and played D2 basketball for 2 years while working towards his degree in Human Resources. Coach Derek will bring excitement, years of playing experience and knowledge to help the kids develop as players.

Coach Kameron Bazile
Coach Kameron Bazile has been coaching/mentoring kids from ages 6-17 in both sports and academics for over 5 years. He has had the opportunity to coach at the YMCA of Greater Houston and currently works for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston as an assistant manager. He attends Wharton County College and will soon transfer to the University of Houston for a degree in Education. His heart is to teach the next generation to-come the fundamentals of basketball. He has mentored hundreds of kids in the Houston area, encouraging the youth to strive for greatness. Our players will certainly value his leadership, mentorship, and solid understanding of the game of basketball.
